The Macabre Museum

What they want:
Dark, literary fiction. Think Jackson, Ligotti, Barker, think the films of Polanski (especially his Apartment Trilogy). Also in search of elevated body horror (Cronenberg), detail-focused historical horror (Simmons, Katsu), character-driven, post-apocalyptic horror in the vein of McCarthy’s The Road, and weird/new weird (dramatic works of Lynch, writings of Evenson, VanderMeer). Bizarro/Splatterpunk stories are welcome, but nothing with shocking elements just for the sake of being shocking. Cosmic horror stories also desired.

Twisted Poetry. POEMS SHOULD WALK ON THE DARK SIDE AND HAVE A CLEAR HORROR ELEMENT.
